Throughout the band season, MCPA partners with our band students to organize a variety of fundraisers. Running a successful band program requires a large budget, and student fees cover only a small portion. Fundraising helps cover essential expenses such as uniforms, drill writing, instructors, judges, hotels, travel, food, props, equipment, and much more.
Each year, MCPA selects fundraising projects to support the program. If you would like to get involved—whether through planning, organizing, or contributing—we encourage you to reach out to a member of our Executive Board. We always welcome fresh ideas and input on how to make our fundraisers more effective.
Some of our annual fundraisers include popcorn sales craft fairs, tag days, and spirit gear. In addition to these seasonal events, there are also ongoing ways you can support MCPA throughout the year.

Kroger Community Rewards Program: Simply visit http://www.kroger.com. Once logged into your Kroger account you can search for Marching Cavalier Parents Association either by name or by our number: TY159 and then click Enroll. New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.
Company Matching: Does your employer offer a donation matching program for non-profits? Many companies will match your charitable donations, making it even easier to support the FMC. Check with your HR or benefits department to see if your workplace participates – it’s a simple way to make your donation go twice as far!
Voodoo Brewing Music Bingo: What’s easier (and more fun) than grabbing great food and drinks with friends? Head over to Voodoo Brewing on the third Monday of each month for Music Bingo Night! Just let them know you’re there to support the FMC and they’ll donate 10% of your bill to help our band. It’s that simple – eat, play, and support a great cause all at once!
